Polymer Funhouse - For ages 7 and younger

The Polymer Funhouse is one of Great Lakes Science Center’s most popular areas for young children and their parents. Designed with our youngest visitors in mind, Polymer Funhouse features more than 90 interactive exhibits and activities to develop gross and fine motor skills.

The indoor space is designed for 'socks only' play; we have socks to loan, but it's a good idea to bring your own.

During the summer visit Port Polymer, the outdoor play area, which is located on the outdoor deck adjacent to the Polymer Funhouse, overlooking North Coast Harbor. Enjoy water play other activities to stimulate the whole family. Port Polymer is open as weather permits.

Featured on Port Polymer is the Polymer II, a paddle-wheel steamship constructed primarily of recycled polymer-based materials. Climb aboard and have hours of fun playing with a variety of interactive exhibits; including the Water Wheel and Balancing Buckets.
