We Have Events Down to a Science!

Your meeting or event will take on a whole new dimension at the Great Lakes Science Center!!!

Experience picture perfect views of the Cleveland skyline and Lake Erie from our two-acre plaza, make the lake your backdrop from one of our outdoor terraces, or celebrate from one of our striking architectural spaces indoors making your event truly memorable. Enjoy outstanding catering service with our exclusive catering partner, ARAMARK. Additional caterers are subject to a 15% pass-through fee and approval. Please contact the Special Events department for additional information. We can host parties ranging from 10 to 4,000 and offer the use of audio-visual equipment as well as an attached 500 car parking garage for the ease and comfort of you and your guests.

PROMENADE This is our lower level, which is enclosed by a six-story-tall glass atrium with gorgeous views of North Coast Harbor.
LEVEL I Our lobby area is a great way to be in the heart of the Science Center. This expansive space offers a creative setting to host sit down dinners or festive cocktail receptions bringing the essence of the museum to your event!
LEVEL II (BYTES) Spectacular view everywhere you look! This space can be used alone or combined with our Mezzanine level to give you a truly memorable space.
MEZZANINE A bird’s eye view of both downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie, this space can be used alone for smaller groups or with Level II for larger groups. The centrally located staircase easily combines the spaces to make a unique multi-level event.
REINBERGER HALL TRAVELING EXHIBIT GALLERY Creativity is key to the limitless possibilities in this space, which accommodates up to 400 people. Availability subject to Feature Exhibition schedules.
REINBERGER AUDITORIUM For your next meeting, seminar or conference, this state-of-the-art space features audio, visual, and video conferencing abilities and accommodates groups up to 200.
DEMONSTRATION LAB Experiment with new ideas for your group, company or organization. This "lab" has seating for 90, or can be split into 3 separate smaller rooms for concurrent meetings.
OUTDOOR AREAS We have five separate spaces, all with magnificent views, that can be used alone or combined with our indoor spaces. The perfect location for cocktail parties, picnics, tailgates, ceremonies, receptions, and much more!
GUND WINTERGARDEN Our best value from floor to ceiling! All four floors right in the middle of the museum. Your event can flow from one floor to another enjoying the views from all the angles & heights that the Science Center has to offer! Includes the Promenade, Level I Lobby, Level II (Bytes), and the Mezzanine.

All spaces can be packaged with Omnimax films and the opportunity to interact with some or all of our 400 hands-on exhibits and science demonstrations.
