It’s Einstein made exciting! You get to be the scientist. Play with particles, laugh at light and “see” sound. Our fun and amazing family hands-on activities will engage the curious scientist in everyone. Check daily schedule for exact times and details.

Public Library Day
Saturday, June 14
10 am - 2 pm


The library comes to Great Lakes Science Center for a day of Einstein-related programs and fun activities featuring story time, a book display, hand-outs and giveaways. Cuyahoga County Library card holders get $2 off admission to Einstein on Saturday, June 14 when they present their library cards at the box office.


The Scientific Theory of
Chocolate Brownies
Saturday, August 2 - Sunday, August 3


Everyone knows the best way to celebrate Einstein's Theory of Brownian Movement … is to eat chocolate brownies! See the exhibition, add some fun activities, and you get a great day of giggles and science. Brownies served 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. While supplies last. $3 per brownie. Activities all day long.

Cuyahoga County Public Library



Visit Cuyahoga County Public Library and check out the Einstein displays on view at 28 library branches. Offered in conjunction with the Einstein exhibition, the displays feature books about Albert Einstein and Einstein trivia. It’s a great way to brush up on your knowledge about one of the most brilliant scientists the world has ever known.

One of the greatest scientists of all time, Albert Einstein was also passionately committed to Zionism. Dr. Alan Levenson, Professor of Jewish History at Siegal College, will discuss the great thinker’s Jewish identity, pacifist politics, role in the founding of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and how Einstein came to be offered the presidency of Israel near the end of his life. Seating is limited. $10 ($8 for Great Lakes Science Center members and Maltz members.) For tickets, call 216-593-0575.
