School Field Trips
Want to ignite your students’ imaginations? Bring them to Great Lakes Science Center for a day of scientific exploration. Go on a space adventure in the NASA Glenn Visitor Center; investigate the wonders of science on our science phenomena floor; tour a historic Great Lakes freighter; experience movie magic in our six-story high Cleveland Clinic OMNIMAX Theater; learn about advances in biomedical technology; participate in a hands-on workshop and see live science demonstrations performed right before your eyes.
Great Lakes Science Center believes the best way to learn science is through experimentation and hands-on exploration. That’s why we engage students through fun, interactive experiences that make science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) come alive. We provide critical STEM education to more than 65,000 field trip students each year. Through informal science education, we inspire today’s students to become the scientifically engaged citizens of tomorrow.
Planning a field trip? We have new operating hours. Great Lakes Science Center is open Tuesday - Sunday and on select Mondays from 10 am - 5 pm. Get details.
