Late Night and Overnight Themes
New Year’s Eve Eve
Celebrate the New Year one night early with Great Lakes Science Center at this family event! Explore more than 400 exhibits, enjoy festive demonstrations by science center staff, take a spin around our carpet skating rink, enjoy warm snacks and view an OMNIMAX Film. End the evening by ringing in 2009 with a countdown and balloon drop!

Robots
Discover how robot designers use biology and engineering to create robots! Our staff will guide
you through building and programming simple robots in hands-on workshops and demonstrations using Great Lakes Science Center’s collection of robotics equipment. Enjoy exclusive access to our traveling exhibition Robots + Us and end the evening with an OMNIMAX Film!

Great Lakes Adventure
Visit “The Ship that Built Cleveland” for an evening of maritime fun and excitement. Explore the historic Steamship William G. Mather Museum, and learn about Lake Erie shipping and ecology. Campers will be aboard the Mather for workshops, and then come into Great Lakes Science Center for more adventure. Enjoy our new film, Mysteries of the Great Lakes on the OMNIMAX screen.

Who can attend?
Great for scout troops, youth & church groups, schools, families, birthday parties and anyone ready for an unforgettable
fun night. Each group of 10 youths must be accompianed by 1 adult chaperone. Minimum number for a scheduled Camp-in date
is 200 participants. Groups will be combined to meet the required number.
