Great Lakes Science Center Celebrates Thanksgiving Weekend With New Turkey Tech Event and a New Omnimax Movie 11/6/2015

CLEVELAND (Nov. 6, 2015) – You could spend Thanksgiving weekend dragging the family around town from store to store looking for holiday “deals,” but those aren’t really the memories you want to pass down from generation to generation, right? Visit Great Lakes Science Center instead and witness what happens when turkey and technology collide at Turkey Tech!
Inspire the spark of creativity this holiday season during Turkey Tech. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, November 27 and 28, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 29, Great Lakes Science Center will add an extra helping of Thanksgiving activities and demonstrations to its already packed lineup of hands-on, interactive family fun.


Get Down to the ‘Nano’ level at Great Lakes Science Center 11/4/2015

CLEVELAND (Nov. 4, 2015) – Big things come from the world of nanotechnology. Great Lakes Science Center is introducing a new addition to its permanent exhibit galleries that explores the world of nanoscale science. Located in the BioMedTech Gallery, the Nano exhibit engages guests through a series of interactive experiences that make a world we cannot see come alive through real life applications and small-scale, but powerful, technologies.


Do the Math at Great Lakes Science Center 1/1/0001

CLEVELAND – Oct. 2, 2015 –  Torque, twist and turn in Great Lakes Science Center’s newest exhibition - 2theXtreme:MathAlive!  This highly entertaining and interactive traveling exhibit allows visitors to experience math through video games, sports, design, music, space and robotics while answering the age-old student question: “when will I ever use all this math?”  2theXtreme: Math Alive! opens Saturday, October 3. Admission to the new exhibit is free with general admission.
